## In short

This work covers holding structures, moving a company and the way founders are paid. Each has more than one route, and the tax cost of each depends on the company's figures and on where its owners live. We set the lawful alternatives side by side, each with its figures and its steps, so that you can compare them.

What decides it:

- the company's figures, and those of its owners;
- where the company and its owners are resident;
- what the new structure is meant to achieve;
- the timing of any sale, move or change of ownership.

## What you get

- The alternatives open to you, side by side, with the tax consequences of each.
- The figures for each alternative, for the company and for its owners.
- The steps each alternative requires, in order.
- A call with your adviser when your case needs it.

## How it works

1. [Send your request](#request). We reply within 2 working days with a proposal: the scope, the fee and how to accept.
2. You accept it and pay in your portal.
3. You upload the company's documents in your portal, such as its accounts and its articles.
4. Your advice reaches your portal, signed by your adviser, with the alternatives, their figures and their steps.

## What is not included

- Corporate law work, which sits outside our tax advice.
- The company's accounts and corporate return, kept and signed by its certified accountant or by our partner accountant.
- Advice on the tax of another country, which stays with your adviser there.

## What clients say

- > You deal directly with the person doing the analysis. No account managers, no ticket numbers. When my situation changed a year later, I emailed and got a straight answer from the same person who already knew my file.

- > Taxbordr’s entity-versus-freelancer analysis proved I didn’t need a Portuguese company. Staying as a sole trader with corrected recibos verdes (Portugal’s self-employment receipts) reduced avoidable corporate and compliance friction.
